"I intend to go to graduate school, so getting involved with undergraduate research is the best way to prepare for graduate studies and a career in academia. I enjoyed how the field of organometallic chemistry is at the edge of conventional chemical synthesis."

Synthesis of Mixed Amido, Guandiinato, Nitrido Tungsten Complexes as Precursors for the Aerosol-Assisted Chemical Vapor Deposition of Tungsten Carbonitride Thin Films
Mixed tungsten amido, guandinato, nitrido tungsten complexes have been synthesized as a new class of precursors for the aerosol assisted chemical vapor deposition of tungsten carbonitride thin films. Novel complexes of the type WN(NR₂)[R'NC(NR₂)R']₂ were synthesized and characterized. Thin films grown with the precursor were evaluated.
