Comparison of the Fluorescent Molecular Probes ASP+ and IDT-307
The goal of my research is to characterize the action of a novel fluorescent molecular probe for the dopamine transporter, IDT-307, and compare its efficacy to that of the well-established ASP+. These chemicals can be visualized on a confocal microscope to study the expression of dopamine transporter in cultured cells, with hopeful applications in neuron culture to be further researched.
