Research Description

Green Roofs : Species & Resource Analysis
There are two main goals of this project, one is to understand if we can use less resources (ie: water) to yield a successful green roof crop vs a traditional growing method. And secondly, if we can successfully grow different and new species on the roof than previously observed. There is a limited amount of academic research regarding green roofs, especially in Florida. I hope to expand our knowledge on how resources, and species can cooperate on the roof.
