Research Description

Discrete Optimization as Applied to Civil Engineering
To use a Quantum computer emulator to solve discrete optimization problems related to civil engineering and to compare the results to existing benchmarks in both terms of time taken to solve the problem and the "accuracy" of the results to further explore quantum computing as a viable optimization device.
