Research Description

Versatility of Carbon nanofibers applications in microelectrode array and pressure sensor.
With the guidance of Dr. Yong-Kyu Yoon, Sheng-Po Fang, and Anthony Machado, I will be exploring the benefits and feasibility of carbon nanofiber in different applications such as constructing a microelectrode array for neural studies and fabricating a pressure sensor for wearable device. Carbon Nanofibers are ideal for both applications due to low cost, good electrical connectivity, high gauge factor, and high surface to volume ratio.
