"I felt that research would be extremely beneficial to me since I am going into nursing. The field is constantly changing and there is always some new innovation or medical treatment. So I thought it would be a good idea to get an idea of medical research and how it benefits society."

Research Description

Enhancing Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Diabetes Education
For the past couple of years, the College of Pharmacy and College of Nursing have teamed up to create this interdisciplinary diabetes education program for students called Pens and Pumps. Our team will be analyzing data from the past programs in order to make this coming year's program even better. Our hope is that in doing so, we will raise a new generation of health care providers who realize the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and practice it regularly.
