"As someone with dreams of working in our nation's legal system, I am very interested in how our laws and policies become reality. In other words, I want to discover and evaluate what the law looks like in action, and this requires research into not only how laws and policies are created but also how they are carried out. With careful analysis and evaluation of current laws and policies, we can make them more effective and helpful so that they benefit everyone in this country."
