"I first began doing research as a high school student through UF CPET's Student Science Training Program. After spending seven weeks in a research lab, I realized the role of research in finding new, efficient, and effective treatments for patients. I got involved in research as an undergraduate student to contribute to the understanding of diseases so in the future we can better manage them."
