Research Description

Arrests and Athletes
The purpose of my project is to gain insight into the world of Division 1 college sports, with a concentration on football programs. I want to find out how crime impacts the locker room mentality, on-the-field play and the general attitudes of teams. I will be conducting in-depth interviews with players who previously played for Division 1 sports teams to learn more about their paths to success in athletics and to gain insight on how attitudes shaped their on and off the field behavior.
