Research Description

What are the implications of minimum wage regulations on franchising?

Changing the minimum wage requirement is a piece of regulation that vastly affects franchisors and franchisees. I will examine the effects of minimum wage regulations on franchising through interviews with employees and executives, surveys, and analysis of past trends. I hope to examine both the positive and negative effects of increasing the minimum wage requirement, specifically in the United States.
