Research Description

Prenatal Breast Pumping Education of Mothers and their Support Person

The purpose of this randomized clinial trial is to discover if early education of preterm mothers will help them begin breast pumping sooner. Specifically, the timing of lactogenesis stage II, milk volume, infant comsumption, lactation duration, and stress of the mother regarding initial milk expression will be measured.
