"I have never done research before and I wanted to get the experience before I graduated. I think the experience will help me become a better person and help me reach my life goals a lot quicker. I also wanted to enhance my engineering skills in a practical manner. You can only get so much out of your classes, but it is up to you to go out and learn the applied."

Research Description

Fabrication of Nanofiber Super Capacitors Applied
The purpose of this project is to create super capacitors (maximum is 1F) using Nanofibers. These super capacitors will be built into a system where a microcontroller will switch between two super capacitors (or more super capacitors depending on the situation) to keep a small dc motor running continuously. It will include a solar panel as a power source to charge up the super capacitors.
