"I was taking Historical Geology and the professor teaching the course, Dr. Meert, was also the adviser for the geology department. After our first exam he told me about the Greenland project and introduced me to Dr. Jon Martin. After an interview with Jon, I found out that working on his research would entail doing field work in Greenland and working in the lab in Gainesville. This prospect was very appealing to me so I immediately accepted."

My project involves studying the fluxes of radiogenic isotopes produced by weathering from the watersheds of western Greenland that depend on the variability of bedrock underlying those watersheds.
