"I got involved in research because I am pursuing a career in K-12 Education Administration and Policy. In this career, I expect to either conduct extensive research or create policy based on available research on pedagogy, classroom management, and adolescents. In order to prepare for my career, I sought out educational research with the University Scholars Program so that I may be able to gain valuable experience while under the guidance of a mentor at such as prestigious research institution."

Horizon Transition Study
My research will follow the transition of 10 students from alternative school back to comprehensive school, documenting what happens during their transition and how school placement effects students in the long run.
