Research Description

Enhanced Solar Thermochemical Fuel Production via Mixed-Metal Oxide Redox Cycling
"The purpose of this research is to determine the most effective mixed-metal species for producing hydrogen and/or carbon monoxide through mixed-metal oxide redox reactions that utilize solar thermal energy. The work is focused on evaluating the role of metal dopants in the mixed-metal ferrites that will be used during the redox reactions.
